About
Brent Daniels is an award-winning music producer, composer, sound designer, songwriter and vocalist. Debuting as the co-founder of the industrial pop duo Hednoize on the legendary Wax Trax! label, “Searching For The End” released to critical acclaim in 1999. The release’s dark cinematic undertones perfectly suited TV and film, with its songs featured on soundtracks for shows and movies including La Femme Nikita, Charlie’s Angels and 3000 Miles to Graceland. The success of Brent’s music in visual media laid the foundation for his future work delivering his signature sound across the film, television and gaming industries.
In 2009, he composed the original score for the feature film A Lonely Place for Dying, which earned the Silver Jury Award for Best Original Score at the Park City Film Music Festival. As a recording artist and songwriter, his original music has been licensed extensively in major motion pictures and television series including The Lake House (Warner Brothers) and Shameless (Showtime).
Brent continues to serve major record labels, game developers and movie studios, delivering emotionally charged cinematic soundscapes. From Activision to Warner Brothers and cultural juggernauts like Marvel Studios’ Black Panther, to high-profile critical fare such as Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, his original music and sonic perspective often anchor official trailers and high-profile marketing campaigns including A Quiet Place: Day One (Paramount), Chaos Walking (Lionsgate) and many more — a number of which garner accolades from the Clio Entertainment Awards and the Golden Trailer Awards along the way.
A passionate advocate for music education, over two decades Brent has concurrently worked with thousands of K-12 schools from all over the world, bringing their classrooms into his studio for his Virtual Music Workshops.
